Anybody else having problems this morning with split TSLA in Alpaca?

  1. Woke up this morning, IB showed the post-split price and number of shares I held in TSLA in my IB account. Alles gut, right? But I checked on my 5 shares in my Alpaca account and the price is correct for post-split price, but I still only got 5 shares!!!!! So an 80% <POOF!> reduction in my position!!!!! And now it is well into regular trading hours and still no update. What happens if I want to sell? Where are my shares? Anyone else? I have to give Alpaca very very VERY bad marks for this. I think when I am outta this trade I am out of this account and all my money is going into my IB account. Anyway, so how do I get my missing 20 shares? Alpaca doesn't seem to be doing anything. I emailed their support desk, no response. Posted on their forum, nothing but other customers having same issue.

So you already know that others are having the same issue. Posting here won’t change that, while I’d be surprised if anyone else here uses Alpaca.

  3. You should be surprised to see me using them again, in any meaningful way, after all this TSLA fluff dies down and I can tie up the money in transfers. I am moving everything but maybe $500 to my IB account. Today I am finally up over $25k combined. I just need a couple thou more for a cushion and I am good to go.

Pity I can't trade my IB account through TradingView, and their API is so hard to do anything with. Otherwise I would have never opened up an Alpaca account in the first place.

I suspect Alpaca will fix this issue soon, not sure if today. They’re new and probably underfunded. At least Tesla went up...
