just want to see if anyones OCD game is up there on next level and you monitor your network closer than your stock charts?
not for any specific reason please dont analyze or come to conclusions. just a simple question. i want to see more detailed real time network stats for gaming and when trading thats all. out of curiosity. because comcast keep fixing sht outside of my house and my network quality keeps degrading.(paying 90 bucks a month for trash network is not what i like to continue doing)

  4. Are you hardwired or wifi? Surprisingly big difference if you have a lot of neighbors.

Fastest connection to the exchange is likely going to be a remote desktop, located as close to your broker as possible. When I had poor internet, high volume events would bog down my computer. Remote desktop only has to send you 60 frames a second of 1080/1920 images (or 4k if you have newest monitor). That isnt much data.

Years ago when I thought i was smart enough to program scalping HTF algos and all super concerned with execution speed, I tested all of Amazon's cloud locations and found Ohio to be best (with tradestation).

Then i realized that wasnt the answer (for me)

    my trading setup is hardline
rest of the house is wifi.
i had one time zero ping on fortinte
and last year before they did all the "repairs" we had under 10 ping on wifi on ps5
now its 200-300 ping and getting worse all the time
and my ping on hardline is around 50 -100 now
im basic now. i used to know this sht long time ago, lost some braincells partying.

  6. mute, are you concerned about your execution speed being fractions of a second slower than someone else?
