I’m fully aware that NVDA is in an uptrend (no question about it), but it is at a key zone (Fib ext, App on weekly TF) I’m stalking NVDA, building up a large short position (option spread). The reward to risk is phenomenal with limited risk. Anyone else brave enough to go against the crowd and short NVDA?
When you fight the trend, you lose. Pretty dumb move but, I know the huge profits are dancing in your head. Biggest factors in trading, fear and greed. Both will destroy you.
%% LOL goood profit points I did sell/exit some QLD[3.33+% of NVDA in it], this week. So while barchart.com bravely has it 100% buy [80% buy QLD]; I told ProGressive Insurance , many years , i'm a carfeul driver i dont want collision with my comp car policy. If this makes no sense ask an insurance agent LOL. I thought they may admire my safe driving with a discount + they did. But they also[greed maybe] resented i did not buy collision , underwriters price it for profit with large sample...................................................................
NQ is my game, not shorting it currently. But this fib external retracement lines up with your fib projection pretty good so there's that:-
Shorting NVDA is "like trying to stop a freight train with your face". I have tried with NVDS, no success.
Wouldn't the least-risky bravest thing to do be buying OTM puts? At least you know your loss right from the start.
short puts at 400 and the gaps down, it's "bull trade" but at least the premiums i can pocket. i have no confidence on nvda's numbers, particularly its oem taiwan semi didn't book any large increases in orders (account receivables) hence nvda's sales 13 billion are "fake", but the ai storyline holds. it will take a recession to drive down the price. i got assigned nvda last september at 160, nothing has changed materially but the ai story, i have time to wait for the "crash".
%% BIOtec with 40-1 reverse split?? I got a ''999%+/ profit'' on an ETF that split LOL @ least that what the brokerage numbers said .@ first LOL Got out fine, but i dont trade it much now, oil related .
