Im so confused and abit overwhelmed. Im currently living in South Korea and want to trade. However , finding the right broker seems to be a harder than expected task. Im mainly into shorting. Im just wondering if there is anyother American similar to my situation and which broker are you currently using? Thank you for any advice
Oh let me guess. Youre one of thise pathetic Europeans who believe that they are so superior to Americans... Let me ask a question . The very financials instruments and tools were largely invented and progressed by Americans. This is how ridiculous and pathetic you are. You insult Americans and yet trade, compete and use the very tools that they invented. Delusional or just right out pathetic trash ? Perhaps both .
What kind'uv problems you're having with your broker ? Also, what's the nearest server of your broker to South Korea ? wrbtrader
Merrill, Morgan, and Goldman have Seoul offices. Commissions, fees, and minimum account size are going to be higher than domestic US offerings. Most international banks maintain offices as well. The cool part is they generally are open 24/7. Prepare for mountains of paperwork.
Im not having any problems. Im just having troubles finding the right broker for US citizens residing outside the US
You have to look for brokers in SKorea that trade US markets or US brokers with trading platform in SKorea. IB or TDAmeritrade may be available? US brokers will not allow you to trade on their US platforms if you provide them with a foreign address.
