Liberals like to claim that "driving while black" is treated as probable cause in some racist jurisdictions. Apparently the same can be said of serving in office and being a young, promising republican. We all know the crap that Sarah Palin had to indure. Endless and pointless "ethics" charges that went nowhere but drained her finances so badly she ended up resigning office. Scott Walker was the subject of a bizarre, secret Star Chamber type investigation by politically motivated prosecutors in Wisconsin. Texas has been the scene of repeated partisan criminal investigations. Tom DeLay was put in prison, then had his conviction overturned on appeal. No mention of where he should go to get his once promising career back. Even Gov. Rick Perry is being prosecuted on flimsy charges related to his demand that a drunken embarrassment of a DA resign. Bob McConnell, former governor of Virginia and a possible national candidate, was recently convicted of vague charges of misconduct related to gifts from a supporter. He had a party in the governor's mansion for the guy. Somehow that is a multi-count felony. Now another up and coming republican is under the gun. Meanwhile the obamas travel and party like rock stars, even to the point of using separate planes when one would have been adequate. I hate to guess how many millions michele, with no official duties, has pissed away on her non-stop vacations. Serial democrat office holders, most egregiously the former chairman of Ways and Means, have been caught with their pants down concerning paying their taxes. Nothing ever happens to them, at least if they're black. It seems every black democrat regards taxes as optional, from Eleanor Holmes Norton to Marion Barry to Al Sharpton. And how did Harry Reid get so rich on a government salary his entire life? Just asking. It's easy to convict pols. Juries hate them. So why is it only republicans get prosecuted?
