Another trading year about to end means CME to raise the rates in Feb'25

    Great news for me. I only wish they would increase the transaction fees even more.

    I benefit because my competition like scalpers or algos who trade more often lose.

    My spread / slippage costs are 4x my commissions (which I assume is true for most liquidity taking traders), so it's not a huge deal.

    About the same for me, still don't like year after year higher commish. For what, other than feeding the C Suite's guys gluttony.

    that means commissions will go up, trading micro is not profitable anymore.

  9. I had always thought we would see a continuation of fees getting cheaper and cheaper over time due to automation... but doesn't seem that way the last few years. Guess we finally bottomed on that.

    At least we finally made an effort to hit T+1 settlements. That's something at least.
