Ever since McAuliffe opened his mouth and said parents should have no voice in their own kids education — the polls started to show Youngkin leading. Which is why “Democrats were sweating it Bigly”.

CRT-based education nonsense is now a landmine that Democratic candidates cannot afford to step on. It is the issue which caused McAuliffe this election. Parents are now in open revolt and many are swing voters who will no longer put up with the abuse of their children by school systems in a manner which is effectively political indoctrination rather than education. Similarly parents are no longer going to put up with nonsense claims from Democrats that CRT-based or Equity education is not happening in their schools — an assertion which is obviously false as evidenced by a significant pile of lesson plans being fostered upon children.

You can call it whatever you like — but it is now the third rail of Democratic politics. Any candidate who touches it will get burned. Parents are no longer going to put up with candidates who push equity education and believe parents should not have a voice in their own children’s education.

Either Democrats are going to learn their lesson about this or 2022 is going to look worse than they ever thought - at both the national and state level.
