Ann Coulter Eviscerates Trump

  1. Many have said that Trump's road to the White House began when he read Coulter's book, Adios America, which detailed the immigration crisis. Coulter was an early and enthusiastic supporter, but her support was tested by Trump's mysterious refusal to do anything but talk shit about the wall. Her frustration reflected much of MAGA land's. It was almost as if Trump equated tweeting support for the wall with actually fulfilling his campaign promise. And that his supporters were unreasonable if they expected more.

Coulter finally has had enough and let Trump have it in this column. http://www.anncoulter.com/columns/2018-12-19.html#read_more

Apparently he blocked her on twitter the next day, a childish move that actually bolstered her case. Her column is priceless. She said voters actually saw Trump's "vulgar narcissism" as an asset because he would not let elite opinion dissuade him from the wall. Somehow he did though. She says the two possible explanations are he was scamming us all along or he has no idea how to accomplish it and is too lazy to learn how.

  4. "vulgar narcissism" is rarely an asset over the long haul. I would have thought, perhaps hoped is a more appropriate, that Trump would have by now made the transition from hard edged contactor intimidating his way through sub contractors to the much more nuanced job of the presidency. I guess this is what we get when our complete disgust with the business as usual political hacks puts us in a position where we just say fuck it, we're rolling the dice.
I will always acknowledge that having Trump as president was extremely important for the SC picks, but frankly that's about it. The economy and market were going wherever they were going early in his term and now all he can do is hurt the market with his continuous insipid tweets and comments. It's painfully obvious he has blown off all the boyz with stars on their shoulders. The man just won't listen to anyone. Men with no humility with eventually be humiliated. Barring some kind of miracle personality change this probably goes downhill at an accelerated rate from here. Tolerance of his nonsense is eroding exponentially. In the end all the fabricated and exaggerated charges won't be the thing that brings him down. That giant ego will crush him.

  5. We all have believed this from the beginning. He likes the attention when crowds are cheering him. he has no interest in actually doing the work required or putting the effort.

His presidency is like his luxury buildings around the world. Others are brought in to build them and he just wants to be paid to slap his name on it and take all the credit.

When Trump brought the press into a wall meeting with Pesloshi and Scummer, for "transparency", i thought, the 2020 campaign is starting early. If Coulter is right, this little stunt won't have helped him.

  8. Desparate move due to all the criticism. GOP does not have the support to get the bill passed with $5 billion in wall funding. It is a red herring. Sheeple want to scream "Build that Wall!" but in reality they don't want to pay for it because it was promised Mexico would pay for it. That was a lie. U.S. can simply improve broder security for 1 /5th that amount with other means. A wall is stupid when most illegals enter here first legally through open doors.

  9. It's a rare treat to see history unfold right before your eyes. The next couple of weeks could have a decisive impact on 2020 and well beyond.

Trump has three alternatives going forward. He can choose not to run in 2020. Who would blame him considering what the Deep State has put him through. He can continue on the current course, paying close attention to what Jared and Ivanka and establishment sellouts counsel. He seems to have the street sense to know that path leads to certain defeat and utter humiliation. Or, he can become the Trump we thought we were electing, picking fights and rallying the people to his side.

The wall is his best battlefield, one where the public backs him. He should shut down the government, give an Oval Office address with angel moms by his side and show how much money we have wasted on pointless wars, foreign aid and the like and how much a wall would save us.

  10. You think a Wall would save us from pointless wars and foreign aid?
