Well isn't that an exercise in irrelevance.

    Nostalgia runs deep.

That same guy (not Maverick74 ) posts pictures of traders and clerks entering and exiting the building, scarfing down sandwiches, etc on Twitter. It seems anyone with a colored jacket and a badge is fair game.

  4. I was there in the pits this past weekend for the first time, I must say I was shocked at the old pictures I had seen vs how many people are down there now. Quite empty to say the least. Still a lot of people of course, but several pits just had 2 or 3 guys in them just sitting down talking lol.

The only pits you will see with activity are the VIX, Corn Options and Ten Year Options.

  6. Lol that was pretty much it! It was pretty neat going down on the floor after close.

I should add to this while the ET billionaires on this site (almost everyone) may scoff at merely beating the S&P 500 by 5x over a 14 year period, the guy runs for all practical purposes a bear fund. He has essentially been short the market for 14 years and beat it 5x over. Compare his returns to David Tice's bear fund or even the ETF HDGE and see how most of these bear funds have been slaughtered.

Unreal. He may be the best fader to have ever operated.

Sidenote - One out of his four longs is a sector I believe has reached generational lows. So I got that going for me...:D
