An argument why there cannot be any additional inflation probably by now or any soon ?

There are now 10% tariffs on all countries (for 90 days maybe prolonged if no deal in meantime with that corresponding country) and US Dollar lost 10% in that time (some weeks earlier started because anticipating) so there is ZERO Effect at all after currency devaluation (on all imports) ? So there is no inflation then coming or is this thesis wrong ?. Then of course there is no argument AGAINST RATE CUTS now because of the loosening US Dollar against all major countries. Where I am wrong here ? I just had a simple milky equation: 10% up on prices for imports - 10% on export prices because of the loosening US Dollar (since a few months). So that is then ZERO or 0% after all. Hmm...?

(As a reminder we also had a loosening US Dollar in Trumps first term with his tariffs start against China and the outcome on inflation was also almost zero).

// And some better analysts I know on the web are predicting 1.50 for EURUSD in a few years because of PPP (showing Purchase Power parity growing on EURUSD for decades on nice charts with sometimes EU trending below or slightly above that PPP fundamental value line). They also argue that if the US Dollar less the dominant reserve currency in the world that could accelerating the real PPP value on EURUSD. So if the US Dollar is loosening against major countries that much any tariffs in sort of 10% to 20% had no effect after currency effect regarding higher inflation or ?.

Well it is posted below Economics, tariffs are important for actual valuation on stock market and so it is not unimportant. Again there is Economic section on Elitetrader for that kind of topic.

Somehow there is some magic involved with a loosening US Dollar on inflation regarding tariffs as 2018 has shown. So a weaker US Dollar helps exporting so trade deficits should be much lower then. So there would be less reasons to pronounce any tariffs. But somehow I do not understand all effects regarding this how it can help inflation not growing much, I am not an Economist by the way.
