What do you guys think would have happened if a few hundred thousand protesters had amassed on Washington D.C - tried to occupy congress, the senate, block the Whitehouse or something... ? Is the US a democracy open for such protest - or more akin to a authoritarian police-state? Public protests seem to happen in some countries when people are unhappy with their leaders. In the US - even during the most unpopular rule of all modern time - there is no action, no great protest... Also - during Sarah Palin's speech there was a woman being forced/lifted away by 5-6 big guys up the stairs, while she made the sign for victory - "V"... Who was she?
