Hi I have been using multicharts.net and a bit of sierra charts - but security and speed is my concern how secure can you lock down a custom strategy in amibroker vs Sierra and multicharts .net would you say ?

    Simple.

Lock it down by trading it yourself. Stop trying to sell a custom strategy. By doing so you look like a spruiker.

Im not trying to sell anything ! Its to be locked down so the trading platform cant see it or hackers !

    Securing the logic that all.

There is no 100% security. Every DLL can be decrypted. It is just a matter of time.

As for AmiBroker, you can create DLLs via C/C++/NET/... there.
As for connection to servers, AmiBroker does not send data to its servers. Try Wireshark.
The only connections are established to data vendors (or to brokers like IB).

Hackers aren't interested in an individual trader's trading strategy. They are more interested in your online banking passwords (drain your funds), your web site and email passwords so they can spoof your identity and send out ransomeware.

Stop being paranoid and start trading!

    I am trading lol

Why do you think every fund mostly writes there own code for security reasons is 1 of the big reasons it's better to be safe than sorry!

Actually, funds employ people to generate signals and separate people to execute trades.

    Profit is reason #1.

Forget the rest. Stop being paranoid. Start trading without paranoia.
