"A restaurant all of a sudden closes now, which has happened by the thousands in not just New York City but coast to coast and around the world, and those rats that were living by that restaurant, some place nearby, and perhaps for decades having generations of rats that depended on that restaurant food, well, life is no longer working for them, and they only have a couple of choices." And those choices are grim. They include cannibalism, rat battles and infanticide. https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/na...ca-s-rats-are-getting-desperate-amid-n1180611
The most scientific line of the decade is right here. "Rats are designed to smell molecules of anything that's food-related," Corrigan said... Yep, a creature "designed" fits the paradigm of science perfectly. Where the hell is my fail noise... Oh, here it it... This moron doesn't realize that rats are naturally cannibalistic. Ask any rodent control company. It is in their nature to survive. You take away a competing food source, and they will go for the closest one. If it happens to be their old buddy, so be it.
I can NEVER watch Javier without thinking of this scene, so his other roles are kinda' ruined for me. Him and his pneumatic cow-killing thing, lol!
In Thailand less tourists feeding the monkeys have led them to running the streets trying to find any scrap of food they can.
