It's on Netflix and I highly recommend it. It came out in 2018 but I just came upon it today.

It's an amazing projection of cultural clash between American workers and Chinese workers in Dayton, OH.

Having lived in China for a year working on a manufacturing project and having worked many years on the management side of a union controlled industry, I find this documentary is absolutely on point without taking position one way or another, simply presenting the cultural differences, the good, the bad and the ugly.

And if it's not clear to all, it shows why China is unbeatable in volume manufacturing and why America couldn't and perhaps shouldn't even try to compete. If so, the consequences and ramifications of that acknowledgement on global trade is significant.

Well over 20 years ago I had come to the conclusion that China would control most mass productions, leaving mid and small high value production to the rest of the world. Today, even mid size production is being taken iver by China as well.
