I would welcome this horsepower for optimization. However, it's overkill for everyday trading unless you are following 20+ symbols on a real-time basis at the tick level....and you have a lot of complex indicators/signals.
New products (see BA with Dreamliner and Sony with new Playstation) or new factories (see TSLA China factory) are a good indicator for future stock appreciation. If the message board could keep track of new corporate product developments, we could have some great investing opportunities.
20+ symbols RT tick with lots of complex indicators/signals almost any PC sold in the last 5-10 years can handle. Make it 2000-3000 RT tick, and you would need something with power.
