Alan Dershowitz, a frequent defender of President Trump, told ABC News that special counsel Robert Mueller’s report will be “devastating” for the president.

Said Dershowitz: “I think the report is going to be devastating to the president and I know that the president’s team is already working on a response to the report.”

He added: “When I say devastating, I mean it’s going to paint a picture that’s going to be politically very devastating. I still don’t think it’s going to make a criminal case.”

  2. Of course it will be "politically devastating". Isn't everything? The talking heads can make a sunny day sound bad. What's relevant, the only thing that's relevant is that it's highly unlikely there will be a criminal case, which is what this was supposed to be about all along. IOW, a complete waste of time and taxpayer money.

Dershowitz has been pretty fair on his comments along the way.

I have quoted what he has said a few because he has been giving us an accurate picture of the laws involved.

If he has heard its going to be devastating politically but not rise to the level of a crime, I would not be surprised if turns to be correct about the criminal aspect.

I hold out a 30 percent chance it was over zealously pitched to him but I would now expect it to be very difficult for Trump politically.

Things did not have to be tough on Trump.
Things were tough on Trump because he did not lead on most issues.

    He picked a terrible cabinet.
He did not lead Congress on health care.

His real issue was being passive and letting Ryan run him and the republicans in Congress into the ground.
Ryan was paid to die and I am sure we will cash in for millions.

Trump should have been been up on hisTwitter feed calling these clowns out.
In short he should have followed Bannon's lead.

    Now, he is in trouble.
    He should bring bannon back.
But, I expect Bannon cut a deal with someone to stay out of US politics for a while.

Jared was the opposite of Bannon.

His Presidency and support has collapsed without Trump working for his base. Trump's only chance for re election is to re energize his base with real actions.

There is one guy who has already taught Trump how to do it. He is in Europe right now.

2010? what happened in comparison to 14? That is a question... not a statement.

But, nevertheless its the same logic... He is going to have to do a lot to bring back some of the democrats he had and get his base and other republicans to vote for him.

At the moment... I think he may lose in the primaries.
