Scumbag was staying in a house owned by the Interior Minister of Afghanistan. Taliban gonna Taliban.

We may not have a presence in Afghanistan but we have a presence don’t we? No real info on the intelligence but it’s safe to say if we got the goods on al-scumbagi we still have a pretty strong network.

    Interesting strike…

'Is there proof?' Marjorie Taylor Greene claims Ayman al-Zawahiri's killing is midterm conspiracy

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) used her congressional Twitter account to claim that Democrats engaged in a conspiracy to claim terrorist mastermind Ayman al-Zawahiri was killed to boost their midterm fortunes.

"November is coming and proxy war with Russia, killing more people and grinding Ukraine to a stump, is not as popular with voters as the admin thought it would be," she opined. "The [White House] admin looks extremely weak & controlled by Zelensky and the Global World Order, but don’t be fooled."

"Is there proof he was killed?" Greene continued. "It was recently reported he was sick and dying."

  7. Yes, Biden said that we would still have "over the horizon capability" and this episode is touted as an example of such and therefore we could withdraw.

On the other hand- the part he does not emphasize- is that he very much touted the fact that Al Queda was gone and out of AFG and that AGF was no longer a center of planning and operations for Al Queda so we could withdraw. Not so much on that part.

I was in favor of withdrawing from AGF (minus the cut and run disaster) but don't need to come up with bogus reasoning. Al Queda was there, still is there and was when we left. Minus one of the leaders is a plus. That whole Haqqani terror network there is linked to Al Queda.

Good thing that Joe was off in the basement with covid for his weekly bout with covid so he had to be even more hands off than usual. As many will recall, Joe prides himself on being the only one in the room to advise Obama against striking Bin Laden. Yeh, sometimes Joe's "experience" is not needed.

Interesting that the two Hellfire missiles that struck him were a variant with no warhead.

They literally slammed two missiles into him when he went out on a balcony. No casualties inside the residence.

    Reminds me of El Kabong.

I guess nobody is getting the $25m bounty.

They don’t publicize the bounty award but I bet the Taliban leadership is taking attendance trying to figure out whose off in the Caymans living it up.

  10. The doctor there in Pakistan who ratted out Bin Laden is still in prison isn't he?

Despite my differences with Camp Obama, I give solid points to them for not letting Pakistan know we were going in. You gotta be nuts to do that. You might as well call Osama directly and tell him when you are coming.

Even though we left AFG under shitty conditions, the whole withdrawal was predicated on the Dohar agreement or whatever wherein the Taliban agreed to not harbor any al queda in AFG. It was one of those things where you just shrugged and knew it meant nothing. Aside from having to look over your shoulder for American missiles, Kabul is a GREAT place for an al queda leader to lead the good life.
