Haberman went on to report that Trump was “not in a great mood” on his plane ride to Iowa yesterday for his town hall with Fox News’ Sean Hannity. Haberman also explained that “even if it’s not the thing that voters say that they are voting on… Republicans are aware that in 2022, candidates who espoused Trump’s election lies ended up basically paying the price at the ballot box in November.”

At the moment, he is seeing this broadly as a threat to his freedom, and his advisers have been — in private conversations — pretty blunt that they see it as he has to win the election, and that is how he guarantees that he does not face jail time.

Now, again, it only takes one juror in any of these cases. He has not been convicted of anything. But the fact that they’re looking at an election to the highest office in the land as some kind of an insurance policy or an out for him, really affects and, I think, colors the entire presidential race.

Does Trump think that winning the election will also get him out of state charges in New York and Georgia?

I don't think so, but trying him, convicting him, and his status as a candidate in such a position are all unprecedented, no?

Whatever happens, globally we're destroying our leadership status.

Considering Trump is running against the worst democrat president ever who has approval ratings even worse than his were he has a pretty good chance of winning.

I expect the next president will pardon both Biden and Trump together
The Biden people will not be happy about that but Biden will need it

  6. That's all you need......Aileen Cannon as the Judge and someone like Mecor as a jurist.

    :D

  7. Biden will need a pardon?! Ambien much?

Besides, I don't think any president should get an automatic pardon by the incoming. It poses a moral hazard for the next one. You shouldn't have a daisy chain of criminals pardoning one another.

  8. Yeah, the skunk's out of the bag. But if the US doesn't wash off the smell of Trump, and soon, it will only get worse.
