Chamath was approached to invest in FTX, took a look and proposed that FTX appoint a board and other measures. The message came back from FTX “go fuck your self” so he didn’t invest.

Seriously, just listening to the guy when he was "on top" -- I'm not sure how anyone thinking rationally could have taken him seriously -- but they did. As a society, we like to think there are these "special" people that we elevate to god-like status.
