Add partition post Win XP install

  1. I've formatted and installed Win XP Pro on a 250 Gb drive. Can I add a new partition on that same drive? In other words, can I have drive C: take up only 100 Gb, and drive D: take up the other 150 Gb? Disk management recognizes the entire drive as C: and thus does not allow me to add/break-up the drive.
Can this be dione in Windows XP or is there an after market program. Thanks for any help.

  4. I've used Partition Magic for this exact thing many times. Works extremly well

  5. I have also used Partition Magic and it worked perfectly. HOWEVER, the antivirus to use in this situation is Norton. I used another antivirus and the partition did not react well. So says my IT guy. If you're going to do this, use the Norton Antivirus, not another. It worked perfectly.
