Actor Jeremy Renner Critical After Snow Removal Accident

  1. "Hawkeye" star apparently has home in Tahoe area. Wonder if it is near Dest's house? Seems like a good guy as he is helping build a fire station there.

Looks like he uses heavy duty, and dangerous-looking equipment. Don't know how he got hurt, but if he got caught up in that...

My neighbor is the attending today. I’ll update if I get any news.

  3. Thanks. Now news is saying he somehow got run over by his Snowcat plow. Yikes. Those things aren't light. Hope he recovers ok.

My neighbor won't offer up any news, as can be expected. He doesn't want to be quoted by TMZ, et al.

Accurate from what I am hearing. The initial rumor was that he rolled it -> head injury. Apparently not the case.

Def was driving the Snow Cat which are typically used for grooming slopes.

That is one stupid way to get hurt. Most people don't have equipment like that.

I've never seen private owners with equipment like that at/near Ski resorts.

I myself ski a lot and travel to ski resorts around the world. I've seen machines like that at Whistler Canada and Stoneham/St. Anne Canada.

Typically I would hear or see those machines at night...grooming the slopes.

Many years ago while on a ski trip visiting friends that have a condo at Vail Ski resort...I did see someone operate one of those snow groomers on a nearby private property. Yet, it looked weird like something from the Arctic that had an attached camper as if people slept in it too...looked like they were just traveling through someone's private property on their way to an adventure.
