Hi, In November 2015, I received a message from IB saying "Based on OCC's decision, IB has to close the access to AQS market for retailer traders by Dec 7, 2015". After that, the only way to short a stock is to borrow from and be charged by IB itself. I do a lot of shorting and traded much at AQS stock borrowing market. So after that, my shorting interest raised 40%. I'm wondering that it is really OCC's decision or just IB wants to screw more interest from its customers, because I can't google any news regarding it. Now anyone knows how to get access AQS, or if your broker provides that?
