About Tesla...

  1. Tesla tanked to $137.. I guess because the competition said they had "cheaper cars".

TSLA rebounded when they said, "we will have a $25K EV model soon".

Now this rebound based upon their promise for "FSD". Problem with this is the required licensing/approval from ALL 50 states. Seems that's a mountain to climb.

Bottom Line... TSLA may be an emotional, knee-jerk play for a trading pop... beyond that, iffy until "all states regulatory" issues satisfied.

    FWIW..

Volvo is ditching plans to be all electric by 2030. I suspect many automakers will have similar announcements soon. Probably good for TSLA.

No company is ready for all electric by 2030. I bet that the government adds 5 years to that mandate and makes it that by 2035 its all mandatory

  6. Yes. The Federal Government has "screwed the pooch" when it comes to the energy demands of EVs and even safety from EMPs. The margin of error and "cushion" seems thin and vulnerable.

Most definitely. And anyone who believes the infrastructure is ready is only kidding themselves. No way no how are grids across the US prepared for this massive transition aside from that the charging stations are mostly level 2s which take hours to charge and the DC fast charging stations are still very limited or having some kind of problem. Moat people I talk to are not buying electric but are going hybrid instead.

IMO there likely to be tens of millions of "Jetson" cars in the skies before Elon gets FSD working.

Those pesky red lights among other issues (such as weather, large shiny objects), that only the most naive early fan boi adopters will accept gleefully.
