Should be interesting price action in both AAPL TSLA this week. I'll likely trade AAPL breakouts.... any thoughts?

Incomprehensible that TSLA moves higher when addl 5B equity is coming in to the market.

It is thought that this is timed to SP500 inclusion. If not comprehensible, take a few minutes to decide how many B are needed to satisfy demand. Then post the answer here.

I would do the very same if i where them... stock is up parabolic....
1% of market cap more or less, will be eaten easily by market, but should at least give a breather to the up move...
I'm short some around 515, stop 533. Buying back starting at 503.15 all the way down to 465.15 in 1$ steps.

I think its a possibility. The rise has been unstoppable up 500%+ ytd. Even a solid 30% pull back wouldn't even show in a long term chart.

People just chasing apple and tesla at this point. I have seen so many people posting snapshots of their accounts on robinhood with options up tens of thousands of dollars. Some using 50 to 100% of their portfolios, a 1 day plunge and they will be wiped out. Thats the risk these players are putting on.

    This guarantees the upside.

TSLA used to only move up 10% per week. Now it goes up 10% per day!

Nah, Twitter doesn't work like that for those sorts of people because a) they'll tell everyone they covered around the top, and b) then shorted the dump...

While i'm with you i think this is now a reasonable short from a risk point of view.
I guess most shorts gave up by now, either before the split or yesterday.

Last time it run that hard (in spring it was i think) it more or less fell off a cliff (i think it was around 10 minutes before market close), dropping 10% or more, if i am not wrong... i don't remember the exact date.
Now it feels kind of the same...
