AAPL is now lower than when Carl Icahn made his infamous tweets, I think this might be a good time to buy some calls. Today (Wednesday) might be too early, but the weekly calls bought this Thursday and sold Friday could be a nice lotto win. :)

EDIT: For a cheap trade buy the QQQ weekly calls instead of the AAPL calls.

If his intent was to pump and dump he had a month to get out. Probably have some new bagholders of expensive length

I read that even Apple's new low price point phone is still too expensive. Their profit margins are headed on a one way down street. Icahn can't do anything for AAPL' s share price in the long term.

  4. Pretty sure apple can double from here

    Fundamental
BEIJING--A Chinese regulator gave the final license necessary for Apple Inc.'s AAPL -5.44% iPhone to run on China Mobile Ltd.'s CHL -2.67% mobile network

    Capitulation
Apple AAPL -5.44% shares fell 5.4% to $467.71 amid a wave of rating cuts.

Wouldnt be surprised if the nasd comp hit the 2000's bubble price within a year because apple doubled

  5. Icahn pumping to get out, that was probably the most lackluster pre x-mas presentation Apple has made, no new products, just phones in a market deeply saturated with smartphones.

Never thought Jobs absence would be so dramatic.

This company's growth days are over.

  6. lol infact cnbc twitter account just pumped that icahn buys more calls and aapl is still a nobrainer.

Uncle Icahn was also pumping the shit via twitter when the nasdaq exchange went tits up .

I hope he loses a good chunk of change because that asshole has a huge ego.

The market needs to humble him a bit. :)

Here is the link saying he bought more today...

I'll wait till Sept 18, when iOS7 hits the iphone - more problems, switching OS is not that easy and foolproof.

  8. this 5c phone will cost mega bucks in other countries without monopoly 2 year contract plans like in the US.

For US it's like 99 bucks with a two year contract, but they rape you with data, protection plans ect on the two year contracts to make up for it. its subsidized .

In other countries like china it is suppose to be $700+

  9. Read today that the 5c will cost "an average Beijing resident almost three weeks pay" to purchase it.

    Not happening.

  10. I still say crapple to 1777
