Seems like a low risk trade.6X forward PE! Trading down just reclaimed 200 day. In a different environment I might be all over this. I might still be. Don’t like downtrending shorter term EMA’s and 10 day crossover.

    agree.
It is a small risk to short AA.
but don't short it with a huge quantity
as the best time to short it was on
    22 Apr 2022.

21 Apr 2022 - a long red candle with a very huge volume

Lower highs and lower lows is still a downtrend. AA could go much lower and still much cheaper. There should be no hurry to grab beaten down stocks. VXRT is a better stock as it is just a $3 stock now so, maximum risk is $3 per share on a worst case scenario. Upside, is how many multiples of that? Theoretically, unlimited. Still observing VXRT though. No hurry to jump in.

I’ve got a tight stop, 59, in recognition of what you are saying. Also, May sell before it reaches said stop

per my post in journal section, raised stop to 60.25. Not acting well, meant as a short term trade and it’s a counter trend trade so I want to keep any loss very small

This stockmarket has not crashed yet. It goes down some, goes up some, down some. Eventually, that big crash will happen. The big bargains are yet, to come. There is no hurry. Just have some capital ready to buy when the time comes. Don't be buying the dips and losing your monies as the stockmarket goes down. Patience is rewarded in the end. Those with monies after the dust settles, will be able to pick up those bargain stocks. While, those who have lost most of their monies in the stockmarket crash will be on the outside looking in. Wanting to buy the bargain stocks but, have very little capital left to buy with.

You can't play commodity stocks with tight stop losses. If I'm buying AA it would be because I like the commodity play aiming for at least $82-88 a share and willing to sell at $55.
