Greetings everyone! I am looking for some kind of source that can help me find the strong sell stocks, the type of stocks that won't rally any soon. That strong sell can express as weak momentum, bad fundamentals, growth decay and so on.. *P.S: that "strong sell" is expressing a stock with negative conditions for a rally in my case. My question to you the experienced traders, do you recommend on specific screen that can help me get that weak underlyings? - Have a great day and thank you- Ron
A way to find them is not to look for them. Seriously, even if you will find a great short (or long for that matter), it takes much more skills to make money on the trade than just to get into the position: it take superior skills to stay in it, and to exit it. Therefore it does not matter what you trade: much more important how you trade it and realistically it should not matter where the price is going, and how.
Qxr thank you for your respond! Let me share with you a little of my strategy. I'm looking for that specific stocks so i can write Bear call spread on them, all i need is a flat move by the underlying, or down move by the underlying so i can make money over few months period. I totally agree about the short tactics that requires high skills but that's not my case. by the way the best screen i found so far belongs to Finviz

You may try overbought stock list at http://www.marketvolume.com/stocks/overbought.asp The good thing is that they allow go back and check the list of the reported overbought stocks a month ago, two month ago and compare where these stocks now. You would have to play with it to see wat overbought levels have higher probability to push stock side-way and or down.
