How to day/night trade the US economy data release?

When the data is released, the market might move decisively/smoothly.

But high chance the market might move choppily/jerkily/erradically.

If that is the case, don't trade the US session.
Trade the coming Asian and European sessions.
By then, the big boys should have their thoughts/minds organized soundly,
and the market will most likely move decisively/smoothly.

During my younger days when I had a full-time job (before I became a full-time trader),
I'd take leave for a day to trade such data release.

Yeah noticed that on my calendar, CPI and FOMC on the same day.

Potential for lots of whipsaw action.

18 elements of DOW are in red as of now 9:42AM PT. Gold is up just to recover some ofits semi crash last week. AAPL is pulling the market up with its AI hype. I don't see any real leg to go long and I expect a reversal soon.

22 elements of DOW in RED and DOW is also RED. Not a good bullish sign. Actually pure bearish.

  10. Big picture rules - market's still up 1 % on the day. These oscillations post FOMC are merely noise. IMHO, of course.

    Watch this squeeze once again.
