Why "a lesson"? Because anyone who's proud to feel they belong to MAGA, starting from your esteemed president, down to your even more esteemed VP and so on, does not understand what 'diplomacy' means. So much so, in fact, that this could even be construed as a 'lecture'. So be it. But worry not. I will put the bits that may be too hard for you to understand in bold, so that it's easier on you. https://www.theguardian.com/politic...raine-comments-not-government-policy-minister Peter Mandelson, the current UK ambassador to the US, recently (i.e. after Trump's ridicolous treatment of Zelensky at the WH) said that "Zelenskyy should give ‘unequivocal backing’ to Trump’s peace efforts". Now, why did he say that? Because he's the UK ambassador to the US, so he's trying to appease the big baby at the White House. Of course the UK opposition parties jumped at the chance and said Mandelson should not be “telling President Zelenskyy what to do”. Guess what. Any ambassador, for any government (left or right) would have done exactly the same, because that's their fricking job. And any opposition party would have said exactly the same thing, because they are the opposition. Asked whether this was government policy, Luke Pollard, the armed forces minister, replied: “No.”. Asked if Mandelson had been incorrect with his comments, Pollard said: “That’s not government policy.” Pollard is deflecting, because that's not his job to contradict either the ambassador or the PM. Why do I say MAGA are retarded (including the MAGAt in chief, DJTard)? Because you do not treat a nation's leader (any nation, or any leader) whom you invited to your country the way Zelensky was treated, in front of the cameras. If you have disagreements, you work them out behind closed doors, not in public. This is the most basic rule of international relations. It's been done like this for 2,500 years, i.e. since the establishment of the ancient Roman civilisation. It is so basic that everyone with at least a high-school level education understands it. Everyone, that is, except MAGA. MAGA says "I'm going to show you who's tough, but I also want the whole world to know who's tough". Guess what. The world knows that already. Everyone knows the US has the mightiest military complex. There is no need to "show" anything. By wanting to "show you're tough" in front of everyone you're diminishing others, but most of all you are diminishing yourselves. Only people who are deeply, deeply insecure, need to remind others about their own insecurities. If that's still too hard to understand, watch this short and think about the first person that comes to mind that lacks the qualities mentioned in the short https://www.youtube.com/shorts/inaRCHWhF1A
Mr Z (globalist puppet) reneged, the deal was a farce anyway. Globalist are all about subversion and using war to maintain control. Trump actually cares about soldiers dying in vain in a forever war.
You're deflecting. You know who else deflects? MTard Greene's boyfriend, talking about Zelensky's outfit when the meeting was about the war.
It was like watching a sport event in a very important game. The sneaky team puts in someone who does not score many points...someone not a key player to go in the game and attack the opponent's key player by making comments like "I slept with your mother 9 months before you were born". The opponent punches the idiot...Ref throws out both players...changing the directory of the game. Trump, Vance, Rubio did not call out the reporter (the boyfriend of Marjorie Taylor Green who's well known for ambushing Americans who go to the Capitol to protest school shootings). Vance then agreed with a big smile on his face with the statement by the Reporter. A commentary that same Reporter never made while covering the Oval Office when Musk (with a tee-shirt and wrangler jeans) visited the Oval Office for meetings with the President. Musk would soon put on a sports jacket to try to hide the fact his chest was wiggling as if he had breasts and forgot to wear a bra. I see this ambush tactic all the time in Hockey games when one team sends out their big guy to take out your star player or to at least rough him up to send a message and put some fear in him to change his mental game so that he under performs. P.S. Trump did this before in his first term when a shouting match erupted between Trump and others...it started when a reporter asked a dumb-ass question that had NOTHING to do with the meeting...some off-topic bullshit that infuriated everybody at the meeting except for Trump who sat there with a smile. wrbtrader
Another MAGAt I suppose? This has nothing to do with the source of the article. All quoted bits are who said what and they are easily verifiable. This is about consternation for lack of diplomacy, and nothing else. That's what you get when you get into debates with people who have a poor understanding of international relations but want to chip in anway
@echopulse can we back up a little. Did Russia invade Ukraine? I just want to make sure we are even in the same galaxy.
OMG what a tired old propoganda trope. And if you watched it, you didn't understand it. Bla bla It was all fine, and then they pounced with their pre-planned reality TV moment.
