A ‘bloody crypto’ Memorial Day weekend? Some bitcoin bulls are dreading the long U.S. holiday break Last Updated: May 28, 2021 By Mark DeCambre A tough long weekend ahead? Bullish investors in bitcoin aren’t all jazzed about the long U.S. Memorial Day holiday weekend ahead. The sun, the fresh air, barbecues, the first major summer break, as more doses of COVID vaccines have hit the arms of Americans and those in other parts of the world. That setup appears to be taking a back seat to growing agita about bearishness that could further crystallize in the coming days for bitcoin and the broader crypto complex, including dogecoin and Ether on the Ethereum blockchain....... ...more @ https://www.marketwatch.com/story/a...g-u-s-holiday-break-11622229960?mod=home-page
I think it's fud It is not as much fun looking at crypto prices, but I still look hundreds of times a day & night!
The hell does a holiday weekend in the US have anything to do with bitcoin? It's a 24-7 decentralized cryptocurrency, based in no nation, expect China for mining. The hell that article? It's a fluff piece, if crypto truly has nothing to do with a government's central bank.
Welp prolly because most trading is done by US speculators who have money to burn. I mean, it is BBQ season.
Yea, need to get out this weekend, I don't want to be tempted to catch falling knives, lol I've bought Eth recently and added more to CAKE... I'm jobless so this 3-day weekend is a scam, it's long weekend every weekend for me cardboard box bbq party this weekend, yo!
Huh? I have traded on weekends and nights, sometimes past 2AM. cryptos are 24/7/365 I'm not an active trader, though. Most of the time, a trade for me is putting a position and holding for months
I trade quite frequently penny stocks, it's just that the algo I wrote seems to favor these types. Crypto kind of reminds me of penny stocks - the speculation, volatility, strong breakouts, acceleration and backed by nothing other than optimism. The thing with pennys from my experience, they can languish a year or two and drive active traders crazy. So, much patience required for holders. The other thing, trading pennys, I found it most comfortable to take small bites and spread out with diversification which imo crypto is not that good at, ie, most crypto seem correlated as a sector.
