When I read that article, I came away thinking, "those criminals aren't sophisticated, you're just dumb". I feel sorry for those slaves though. Damn, those captors should be captured and shot.

I had actually run into that article myself when it came out. CNN is now unfortunately infamous for bias, sloppy reporting, and even misinformation.
