Most since great pandemic Wow. This means s&p to 7000 and beyond. The worse the news the higher markets grind Nothing so to see here...just move along... US corporate bankruptcies in July hit their highest monthly level since 2020. The number of large public and private companies filing for bankruptcy increased from 66 in June to 71 in July. This makes 446 bankruptcy filings for the first seven months of 2025, the most since 2010 https://www.financialexpress.com/bu...krupt-in-july-highest-since-pandemic-3944803/
S&P can simply remove those companies from the S&P index (if they are in there). Then S&P will go higher and higher and higher.
That business vacuum would get filled by other(bigger) companies and this pushes the indices up. Small guys get killed while big corps become bigger and bigger pushing the indices up. On a personal level rich get richer and the poor ....... Capitalism in action!
That, or Trump's continuous interventions in the capitalist system is creating havoc and leading to more bankruptcies. Fascism/communism in action!
those are just democrat companies that were laundering stolen funds from the government going broke cause TRUMP cut off the money flow ... yea hope for many more bankruptcies including the op! @S2007S 26,000 stupid ass post and 3k likes lol
Right, no Republican enterprises could ever go bankrupt... military industrial complex and oil and gas have been sucking on the government tits for many decades.
Isn't that what Trump is known for, bankrupting companies. Those71 companies just made good business decisions. LOL
Power eventually consolidates. In 100 years.... the S&P 500 will probably turn into the S&P 200 or S&P 50 or less. And countries might merge, who knows. Divide the world into two main controlling parties. In 300 years this planet's organizational structure will look vastly different.
There is a major recession & market crash looming on the horizon. Look at how the BLS payrolls number has started to flatten out and will likely turn down in the near future. It is a pretty reliable indicator.
