This is somewhat perplexing because the media is doing everything in their power to create a racism narrative but there is none !
You had 5 cops that belong to an elite unit who engage in very intense and dangerous operations. The suspect did not comply but we dont know why he was asked to step out of the vehicle. The cops were clearly wrong and the system will play out.
One thing that sticks out are the protests: they were done on a week day. How did they all take off from work?

Can black cops beat a white dude? In any case, when the suspect is subdued, the beating needs to stop.

LOL I was just about to ask the same question. Would that also be called racism?

The definition of racism was changed years ago, other races cannot be racist against white people, because there is no history of white people being racially oppressed by other races throughout history. Plus the Whites control all the power in the US.

You have never lived in Europe. There it is about RELIGION even though Whites are oppressing other Whites throughout history.

Also, the U.S. has a nasty history of Whites oppressing other Whites during the great migration/immigration years from Europe to the United States. In those days, it was about language, religion, and/or gang affiliation regardless if it was in the new urban cities or the rural communities.

I said whites being oppressed by other races.

Obviously whites have oppressed other whites throughout history, but not many cases of non whites oppressing whites. Enslaving them, succesfully invading them, or using them as cheap labour etc.

You may want to review your European World History books involving what happened outside of the United States or long before the United States. Whites have oppressed other Whites, invading them, enslaving them, raping, and using them as cheap labor.

Yet, if you're only talking about the United States...there was no invasion that resulted in Whites enslaving other Whites. In contrast, cheap labour has occurred but not to the extent of White history against Blacks.

Regardless, Whites oppressing other Whites has primarily been about religion, language and/or gangs within the United States (e.g. KKK terrorizing White Catholics)...a lot of history I learned in Europe about the United States in comparison to not learning about it in the U.S. education system.

The phrase "white slavery" was used by Charles Sumner in 1847 to describe the slavery of Christians throughout the Barbary States and primarily in Algiers, the capital of Ottoman Algeria.[2] It also encompassed many forms of slavery, including the European concubines (Cariye) often found in Turkish harems.[3]

The term was also used by Clifford G. Roe from the beginning of the twentieth century to campaign against the forced prostitution and sexual slavery of girls who worked in Chicago brothels. Similarly, countries of Europe signed in Paris in 1904 an International Agreement for the suppression of the White Slave Traffic aimed at combating the sale of women who were forced into prostitution in the countries of continental Europe.

P.S. I spent some years growing up near Chicago. Military soldiers near U.S. military bases often talked about Chicago brothels in my grandfather's and great-grandfather's journals...white slavery and native american slavery...

Also learned in World History class in Europe but not in school in the United States. Today, we have the internet or Google, a lot easier for kids to learn about it even though it is not taught in the U.S. education system. Understandable that its not a suitable topic for high school but they eventually learn about it in college.

Obviously started with old Jews, then Slavic folks and Germanic. In the end Anglo Saxon rules the current world.
