Massive increase in Black Americans murdered was result of defund police movement: experts

Between 2010 and 2019, there was an average of 5,954 White murders, which is roughly 16% lower than the 10-year average of Black murders. During that same time period, an average of 6,927 Black Americans were murdered each year, meaning Black murders shot up by 43% in 2020 compared to the previous 10-year average.

Blacks are less than 13% of the population.

2020’s "violent-crime increase—call it Ferguson Effect 2.0 or the Minneapolis Effect— has come on with a speed and magnitude that make Ferguson 1.0 seem tranquil," Mac Donald wrote during the crime spike that year. "George Floyd’s death at the hands of Minneapolis police in late May was justly condemned — but the event has now spurred an outpouring of contempt against the pillars of law and order that has no precedent in American history."

Since police funding goes up every year murders should be down.Piece of shit Biden signed a bill giving them an extra 350 million in December

And there has been no police reforms which is why piece of shit Biden has a 60% approval rating with blacks and that's a major reason why they will be staying home in Nov and 2024.

The media fixation with abusive police and BLM incites more violent episodes. It creates an unwarranted sense of justification for challenging authority.

Everyone should be concerned about unsolved murders, and murderers walking around free.

Well something should be done about abusive police as Biden promised he would.Of course Biden changed his time and is now more funding for police with no reforms which is why I and millions of the people who were marching for police reform in 2020 won't be voting for him again.

The drumbeat of defunding and anti police has led to a massive reduction of police forces and new recruits.

Will only get worse in the hood.
