Hi all, I've gotten used to my 16 year old Dell FP1905 monitors, which are 19x19. 4 of them fit nicely on my desk. But they're getting old and will need replacing soon. It seems like that size is hard to find nowadays. There are 19x inch height ones, but they tend to be wider. The other typical 22-23 inch ones are too big to accommodate 4 which allows me to have several charts/docs open at once. Any ideas on what my options are?
I'm just curious what you mean by getting old/need replacing soon. Are they starting to fail, or you don't like the resolution?
I am surprised that they have lasted 16 years. That is amazing. I have a few 19" monitors in my setup and have no idea old they are.
Myself, I don't want bigger monitors on the outside of my setup as it would then be way wider than I want, and my head would swivel off and fall onto the floor.
Get 4K ones so you need less monitors to get the same amount of pixels. Probably need 4K graphics card as well.
Now that I think of it, the 19" monitors I am using now are replacements for the ones I was using before so they can't be that old.
