  1. Has anyone used this product to add monitors to their laptop? It is much more reasonably priced than a digital tiger sidecar. If you are using one, please let me kow if the product has served your purpose.

A similar method is to do the opposite.. use a laptop as an extra monitor using a program called. maxivista. www.maxivista.com

  3. That is good and all, but not really what I am looking for. I would prefer not to add another laptop, nor buy another PC with a quad head. I currently have a laptop and an additional monitor. I would like to add two more monitors and was wondering if anyone ahd used the above tool in their current configuration.

I use that same card on my laptop when I'm traveling to run 2 additional monitors. Works as advertised.

  5. Thanks.

  6. Try getting support for the iVillage card. I had to return this product b/c it wasn't compatible with my laptop and pcmia slot. If it works you save roughly $1000 so it may be worth the shipping to find out. Bought and returned at CDW.

    I like it.

It does DVI and is pretty good. Not quite as good as the VGA comming out of the laptop, but very close. Certainly enough for trading.

Can produce some heat. That being said, I would put your laptop on a cooler pad. IMHO, if the internal fan never goes one, then the heat managment is correct.
