19" LCD vs 22" LCD font size, etc

Can anyone tell me how the fonts compare on a 22" widescreen (1680 x 1050) vs a regular 19" lcd? Would the fonts be noticeably smaller on the widescreen?

I am looking into using a 22" WS along with a 19" regular lcd I already have (using them side by side). Just wondering if the fonts would be totally different in size, etc?

Also would I gain roughly 35% more screen space on the 22" vs the 19"?

I just dought some new 22 in wides. I love them. You can get so much more on teh screen. Not sure about fonts. Fonts seem pretty easy to change. I would go for it.

I have my 22's next to a 17 reg and it looks ok

 

Did you not get my PM? A 19", 5:4, goes well with 22" widescreen.

 

There is another post regarding monitor sizes, where I listed the Ratios... and what monitors relate well with others so far as similarity in dot pitch size (font size for laymen)
