Former Director of National Intelligence James Clapper confirmed in his testimony before the Senate Judiciary Committee that the “17 agencies” line was fake news. While there are 17 American intelligence agencies and none, to his knowledge, objected to the CIA/FBI/NSA report, none of the other 14 agencies have published any independent confirmation of its claims. .. Correction: June 29, 2017 A White House Memo article on Monday about President Trump’s deflections and denials about Russia referred incorrectly to the source of an intelligence assessment that said Russia orchestrated hacking attacks during last year’s presidential election. The assessment was made by four intelligence agencies — the Office of the Director of National Intelligence, the Central Intelligence Agency, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the National Security Agency. The assessment was not approved by all 17 organizations in the American intelligence community. exactly right... and they did not even have the guts to make their own assessment. they just sort of signed off on the cloud strike review... with a ton of caveats... to the point where they were really not on the hook for anything. and it turns out crowdstrike based their conclusion on the fact that it looked like the hacking tools were the same tolls the russians use. However a few weeks later it was revealed the cia lost tools that make it look like people were hacked by russians. so with 13 other agencies out... and these 4 agencies not really saying anything... it looks like the dnc could have been hacked by anyone. couple this with the fact the russian dossier was commissioned by a dnc opp research group... and you have a smokescreen used by obama to cover the administrations and the deep stated illegal spying. Which they never thought would come to light because hillary was supposed to win.
