I felt bad during the Christmas break - my retired dad scored 35% buying an SP500 ETF and I only made 4% with a delta neutral-ish diversified portfolio....it is being tested right now but holding fairly well.

Regardless of risk, asset class, trading style or leverage - what is your annual performance between mid-march 2019 and mid-march 2020?

nasdaq 100 returns 12.75% annual since its birth.... nobody can beat it.... waste of time to try it.

OK, a NASDAQ 100 buyer who bought on 03/13/2019 is up 2.8% as of today.
It's a good unbiased benchmark we can all look at.

of course 12.75% doesn't mean any 12 month period, that would be a bank cd....

thing is - this baby is so much stronger than the other indexes.... DIA SPY all negatives right.... and IWM is trash.

  9. No, just books.

I can understand your skepticism, but it's a real number. Most people on ET find me to be an honest chap...
