first post congrats have you just started trading ? today ? thats a pretty big trade for a new trader
%% I dont see any$ 00. 60 on that; always double check it............................................................. But look$ like you could easy stop trading MSFT\ its priced about 266.666+/ worse than AAPL
trading for many years, but want to get more serious. As non-US citizen I can not get the light account which they say is with no commission. Schwab I read does not want scalpers, right? And actually the speed of the TWS is pretty good, I like the way I can set up my screens with multiple charts, so yeah, here I am, wondering why I exceed the commission of 1$/100 shares in 50% of the fills....
%% CALL /SCHW. They like scalpers, as long as you dont overtrade on...... FED days /LOL I called SCH this year + asked WHY did you sell my inverse ETF its still goin' UP I never pushed the sell button?????????????????????????????????????????????????? The trade desk or SCHw trader said YES, but you had a GTC order in + we filled it /LOL He maybe though i was trying to get some more price improve /LOL but honest mistake. Sorry i said SCHW is right Pretty big size on MSFT compared to your AAPL trade
Switch to IB Tiered pricing. https://www.interactivebrokers.com/en/pricing/commissions-stocks.php If you don't trade options, consider IB Lite or ThinkOrSwim.
how long is it gonna take for the idiots here to give the real reason ? i cant hold my breath forever i mean you guys are 30 year elite vets , aint ya ?
yes i will switch to tiered before i try out the next broker, Lite I can not since I am not an US citizen
Yes. On average you will save money at IB on their tiered commission plan over "free" trading options. Their costs are explained in every last detail.
