1.6 billion mobile phone users in China

 

Didn't know they have even that many people... must be lots with more than 1 mobile phone.

 

In 2014, China has 1.2 billion mobile phone users. That is 94% of the population.

So now 1.2 billion Chinese people all have mobile phones ?

 

Every man, woman, and child... old people too?

 

As per the numbers there are 1.6 billion mobile phone users in China. Smartphones have dual SIM cards

 

the numbers are obviously cooked, which is why you never want to trust chinadaily lol.

but many people do have multiple phones, to separate between personal and biz...

but still, no way to have average 1 phone per person.... considering the poor rurals and many age groups don't have phones.

 

The number might be cumulative number over the past say 20 years.

a person might change hp say every 2 years.
so over 20 years, he would have 10 hp

 

That's about the entire population of China.
