Amazing coming back. Nasdaq up 500% and Dow up 300% from the low 10 years ago. But still not comparable to the huge rise from 1989 to the peak at 2001 when Nasdaq rose 1000% and Dow up 370% in ten years.

Sad to remeber......we had a large position in FAS.......... but were naive and novice, did not know the word trader> stop loss or TA? charts. Our "friend", bankster- account manager and trades executor called over and over... to make us sell... we did... He said he would risk his job if we don't...
Well, now it looks unbelievable even to me...Lessons learned, the experience made...

    Also,
    • On this day in 2000, Fed Chairman Alan Greenspan, on his 74th birthday, seemed to endorse the stratospheric prices of tech shares at a Boston College economic conference, following years of warning that stock prices were too high. Just four days later, the Nasdaq peaked and began tumbling in what then was the worst market crash since 1929. (Wsj)

Please, forgive me for answering only now - you will appreciate the burden on us and my time between.
going to your post, even if short, makes a lot of things come up.

    Please, "fiend", no friend.
It was on today, ten years ago https://letsmaketheworldfairer.com/2019/03/06/6th-march-ten-years-fas-550k-anniversary/

It is laughing through tears, seven years ago, when we started to understand how it all supposed to be. It is interesting memories now...

    Strange.

I am thankful to Life for this experience.
Still "compassion but no mercy," - yogis say, so it will be. banks, as well every broker, must respect and serve us, not thinking that we are their free food.
    So it will be.
