me2 jd.. i don't think maxpi's issue is about how TS handles realtime trades. i may be wrong, but i think it has to do w/ how TS backtests....
well, apparently, maxpi has identified an issue in the way TS backtests and switches positions. and obviously, it's well over my head. but...
i'm not sure about the latest versions of Tradestation, but w/ tradestation2000i, i know for a fact if i'm Long-1 and a short signal is triggered,...

i use sygate's free firewall fwiw.. no problems w/ IB . * also have a router which i would recommend as well.

i didn't see volume charts mentioned on the front page.. i am 99% sure Multicharts has the capability. FWIW i don't use multicharts...
