To speak for ECHO as far as I know there is no limit of days you may hold the stock overnight and they usually allow a 1:4 margin for overnight trades
why should kazaa work over a router where e.g. ICQ fails? It as well needs to open up port 1214 in case there is no socks running

There are dozens of possibilities to swap files over the net: 1. you could use any instant messanger which support file transfer: ICQ...
you can short the QQQ on a downtick but i prefer routing to ecn's as they fill way faster than NYSE, AMEX whatever
