I would agree finding an edge that fits your personality is most important. But there are many edges and different ways to make money
Not sure trading the wrong way on a Sim account is the way to go. Trading is about forming good habits not repeating bad ones

I've never traded the Russell but from what I've read volume and movement were much better when it was at the cme
I believe they are around $100 per month. I would think the russell would maybe move soon to another exchange
