Hi Mysteron, Do you think the OP was leading people a bit of a merry dance with talk of an elusive "obvious", TFF, the holy grail, 500-1000% p.a....
This is a very basic chart but price is still going down. https://www.lloydsbankmarketwatch.co.uk/security.cgi?csi=2448614
Price is still going down. Always remember the obvious. ;) [ATTACH]
Trading very small helps. I used to think, what's the point in buying £1,000 of stock because, even if it goes up by 10%, it's only £100....
I'm not sure that's obvious. ;) We will see. It's only a gamble after all.
Or the UK equivalent, FTSE-350 stocks. With 350 horses to choose from, it shouldn't be too hard, at any given time, to find a few obvious...
Take a look at this stock chart. Suppose you had to make one of 4 choices 1) go Long 2) go Short 3) wait to go Long 4) wait to go Short Which...
I'm in a similar quandary. I started with mid 5-figure capital back in 2004. Did ok to begin with, probably more by luck than anything else, then...
1. MA - Market Awareness? 2. VSA - ... Self-Awareness? Visual? 3. ATR - Assess The Risk? 4. MM - Money Management 5. DOM - Direction Of Move?

Which begs an obvious question. Are the members of TFF in their right mind? :D
Yes you're probably right. Money Management, Measured Move, Market Manipulation... Could even be Monkey Method for all I know.
1. Moving Average 2. Volume Spread Analysis 3. Average True Range 4. Market Maker 5. Depth Of Market (aka Level II) :)
After over 4300 posts, is anyone prepared to say what they think the Obvious is? Or is this forbidden?
Simple appeals to me. :)
Squiggly lines. :D I thought the obvious didn't require any indicators?
A bit more detective work. So, the "obvious" is really simple and yet too hard for most people to do. Hmmm...
You're almost right RN. 100 increasing to 1087.22 is actually a gain of 987.22%. This might illustrate. 100 to 200 is 100% gain 100 to 300 is...
There's another saying, that I learned the hard way. Q) What's the easiest way to make a small fortune trading? A) Start with a big fortune!
