I notice you make a lot of conclusory assumptions. I never said what I wanted from my participation here. Thank you for the laughs, nonetheless....
Exactly. It is good at what it does, but it doesn't forecast the markets well at all, imo. It basically curve fits...like most other ML.
Did you guys throw Eureqa at the problem...like I did long ago? As well as multiple ML algos? http://www.nutonian.com/products/eureqa/
LOL...you and dratsum are killing me!
Right. The OP is confusing protecting trading signals of traders with protecting what a fund will be buying over several days in a particular month.
Then, you should do that using the local highs/lows of any instrument as your 'signals' and get rich.
Maybe they're like you, believing in something without knowing why--because everyone believes it or does it. Maybe they are using simple systems?...
I disagree.
I don't use Multicharts, but any 'code' can be reverse-engineered with enough time/effort. The only true 'protection' is to not give the...

If you do it wrong, you lose money.
Compare machine learning algorithms on historical data using price, etc. as inputs vs. time, etc. as inputs. Does price, etc. outperform time,...
Agree about HP!
"Real" RAM instead of ReadyBoost should help; Maybe try that out before buying/building a new, expensive system. Installing more "real" memory...
It depends upon how the algorithm is optimized. For example, if a Neural Network ("NN") is used to forecast closing prices using OHLC as inputs,...
Unfortunately, (judging from these responses) it seems that no one knows, or it doesn't exist.o_O
Excel is also for complicated stuff.
Just installed 2016 today. I haven't done much more than the basics yet, but so far, seems essentially the same. I assume some things were fixed....
Nice! Maybe you could post some real-(or near real)time forecasts so we can see how well it actually performs. Finding patterns ex post facto is...
