Hi sjfan, I admire your knowledge about the buy-side of the asset management field. I am a college student, a sophomore, and I am trying to get my foot into the hedge fund world. So far I have managed to upkeep a 4.0GPA, and I have applied for many internships and internship development programs for several asset management firms (Investment Banks, etc.). I haven't had much luck with the headquarter internships, and after many phone calls I still haven't had much luck. I thought that maybe you would be able to give me some good advice or perhaps recommendations for me to have better success with getting my foot into the hedge fund world. I currently go to UNC Charlotte, and I am planning on transferring to either UNC Chapel Hill or Columbia University, which will help with the process. But I feel that for hedge funds it takes a little more than good grades and a great school. If you could help guide me into the right direction, I would more than greatly appreciate it. Anuj
