IQFeed doesn't seem to support linux. They charge ~$444/year for API access on top of IqFeed core fee and exchanges fees.

Hmm in that case I'm not sure. Probably a representative from Polygon can help you out here.
I believe both are correct. Polygon simply ignores BBO from the same exchange.
