Given how cyclical these periods of irrational exhuberance and fear have been for the last few market cycles, its not hard to time the bulls and bears within a year. Moved to cash in Dec 2014. Currently sitting on said mound of cash and waiting. So far in 2015 this has been a stellar play, the USD alone as appreciated significantly and rewarded my cash holdings. Also bought some gold in CAD which turned out to be a good move as well.
